Safety, ethics and how we're paid
How we're paid, how we look after your information, and what happens if something goes wrong.
How we're paid
Two separate payments, and nothing hidden between them.
You
the patient
- Treatment package, paid straight to the hospital
Hospital
JCI or NABH accredited
- Our fee, fixed, from $500, paid to us separately
Krinav
your case manager. Any arrangement with the hospital is disclosed to you.
Fixed, disclosed fees
You pay us a fixed fee, agreed in writing up front. You pay the hospital directly for treatment. We never mark up a hospital's or doctor's price.
No payments from doctors
We don't take commissions from individual doctors, and no one on our team earns more by sending you to a particular surgeon.
You always choose
Where we can, you get opinions from more than one accredited hospital. You're free to choose any of them, or none.
No false promises
We'll never advertise '100% success', 'the best surgeon in India' or a guaranteed visa. Medicine carries risk, and we'll be upfront about it.
Check it yourself
You don't have to take our word. These are the public records we check, and you can too.
JCI accreditation
Joint Commission International lists the hospitals it accredits. Check the exact hospital and that it's current.
jointcommissioninternational.orgNABH accreditation
India's national hospital accreditation board publishes accredited hospitals on its site.
nabh.coThe surgeon's registration
Doctors in India are listed on the Indian Medical Register. Search by name or registration number.

Standards
Our standards
NABH Medical Value Travel Facilitator standards
We run our processes to the NABH MVTF framework: patient assistance, transparent finances, staff competence, quality improvement and information security. We're working towards formal empanelment.
Heal in India
We follow the Government of India's Heal in India guidance for international patients, including e-Medical visa processes and airport facilitation.
Immigration compliance
Form C arrival and departure reporting within the required 24 hours, e-FRRO registration where needed, and visa extension support if treatment runs longer.
Telemedicine rules
Under India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, only registered medical practitioners give clinical opinions. We provide the coordination, never the advice.
Your data
- Encrypted in transit and at rest, with access limited to the staff on your case.
- We share records with a hospital only after naming it to you and getting your consent.
- We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, at any time.
Clinical independence
Doctors decide what treatment you need, not us. Where we can, we send your records to more than one accredited hospital, show you every opinion side by side, and never steer you towards the option that pays us more.
If a surgeon advises that you don't need surgery, or shouldn't travel, we'll tell you plainly, even if it means you don't travel with us.
If something goes wrong
Every case has a documented escalation path. Here's what happens, in order.
- 01
Hospital team responds
Your treating hospital is clinically responsible and has ICU care on site.
- 02
We're alerted straight away
Your case manager joins you and keeps a written log of decisions.
- 03
Family and embassy informed
We update your family, and your embassy if needed, with your permission.
- 04
Plans adjusted
Extra stay, visa extension, or evacuation where your insurance covers it.
