Visa
Which visa you need
It depends on your passport. Either way, the hospital's invitation letter is the document that matters, and we get it for you once you choose a hospital.
e-Medical visa, online
For passport holders from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
- 1. Get the hospital's letter (we arrange it).
- 2. Apply at indianvisaonline.gov.in, between 120 and 4 days before you fly.
- 3. Up to two family members apply for e-Medical attendant visas linked to yours.
Paying
How paying works
- Prices are quoted in US dollars. You pay the hospital directly, usually by bank transfer or card, and our fee separately.
- Hospitals usually ask for a deposit on admission. Your written quote says how much and when.
Questions
Common questions
Will there be someone who speaks Russian?
Large Delhi hospitals have Russian-speaking interpreters at their international desks. Tell us when you ask for a quote and we'll ask for an interpreter to be at your appointments.
Can I use the e-Visa?
Yes. Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan passport holders can apply for India's e-Medical visa online, using the hospital's invitation letter.
Can a family member come with me?
Yes. Up to two family members can travel with you on medical attendant visas linked to yours. Many patients from Central Asia bring one person; we plan the stay for both of you.
Can you help if I've already been told I need surgery?
Yes. Send your reports and the diagnosis you've been given. A specialist at an accredited hospital reviews them and gives a written opinion and a price before you decide anything.
